Thanks to willougr@forum for <a href="https://forum.iredmail.org/topic21210-sieve-filters-not-work-with-fresh-install-of-186-on-debian-13.html">the feedback</a>.</p></li></ul><p>Reminder: <a href="https://forum.iredmail.org/topic21202-iredmail185-has-been-released.html">iRedMail-1.8.5</a> updates Roundcube to latest <a href="https://roundcube.net/news/2026/08/09/security-updates-1.6.18-and-1.7.3">1.7.3 which addresses 11 security vulnerabilities</a>, <a href="https://forum.iredmail.org/topic21206-iredmail186-has-been-released.html">iRedMail-1.8.6</a> updates iRedAPD to 6.2 with one possible security vulnerability, don&#039;t forget to upgrade.</p><h5>Planned changes for next release (1.9.0)</h5><ul><li><p>Drop support for OpenBSD. No one runs iRedMail on OpenBSD for production, we&#039;d like to reduce our workload.</p></li><li><p>Drop support for Ubuntu 22.04. Please use 24.04 or 26.04 instead.</p></li></ul><h5>Any suggestions for iRedMail-2.0?</h5><p>Thinking about this but not yet decided:</p><ul><li><p>Replace iRedMail installer by Ansible-like tool and playbook for initial deploy and further upgrade? Same tool and playbook as iRedMail Enterprise Edition, with one-command (CLI) and one-click (web) upgrade support, no more step-by-step upgrade manually.</p></li><li><p>Replace iRedAPD by milter program developed by iRedMail team?</p></li></ul>]]></content>
