Now with iRedMail (running on a powerful dedicated server with a wide channel and near  zero load) it takes minutes. What can be the reason and how to optimize this?

Users call me to complain that mail is not working as they expect to get a message in a matter of seconds after a sender tells them (by phone) it is sent.
