Dear all,

iRedMail-1.8.1 has been released.

Download from our website: https://www.iredmail.org/download.html

Upgrade your existing iRedMail server: https://docs.iredmail.org/iredmail.releases.html

Here's major changes since iRedMail-1.8.0:

Updated packages

SOGo Groupware 5.12.8. Addressed 4 security vulnerabilities. Please upgrade as soon as possible.

Roundcube 1.7.0

netdata 2.10.3

mlmmjadmin 3.6.3

Planned changes for next release (1.9.0)

Drop support for OpenBSD. No one runs iRedMail on OpenBSD for production, we'd like to reduce our workload.

Drop support for Ubuntu 22.04. Please use 24.04 or 26.04 instead.

Any suggestions for iRedMail-2.0?

Thinking about this but not yet decided:

- Replace iRedMail installer by Ansible-like tool and playbook for initial deploy and further upgrade? Same tool and playbook as iRedMail Enterprise Edition, with one-command (CLI) and one-click (web) upgrade support, no more step-by-step upgrade manually.
- Replace iRedAPD by milter program developed by iRedMail team?
