Topic: Remote MySQL Server with iRedMail

Hello,

I have just completed the installation of iRedMail + iRedAdmin-Pro. Currently, it's using the localhost MySQL database.

I want to move it to my dedicaced MySQL Cluster for some security reasons, and I guess I have to modify the MySQL server informations into :

- Postfix configuration
- Dovecot configuration
- Amavis configuration
- Roundcube configuration
- ...and obviously iRedAdmin-Pro configuration

Does I forget something ?

If there is a complete list for the files to modify, it will be great !

How can I check all is working fine after that kind of modifications ?

Thanks,

Valty

phpMyAdmin, Awstats, iRedAPD (/opt/iredapd/etc/iredapd*.ini).

Re: Remote MySQL Server with iRedMail

Thank you very much smile

In case of restoration after some crash, is it possible to :

- Reinstall iRedMail + iRedAdmin-Pro on a brand new server
- Connect it to the correct DB
- Copy the backup of /var/vmail folder

...and run the softs ?

Or am I missing some other checkpoints ?
