Topic: iRedMail installation with an exist openLDAP Server

Good morning,

I have an openLDAP server provinding authentication in the local network for services like Samba, unix logon... and I would like to integrate an iRedMail installation with this openLdap.

How is it possible? Have you got any instructions about it?

There is a manual to use an existing MySQL server with iRedMail installation, but not for openLDAP.

thanks a lot!

I think you should check the slapd.conf and add necessary schemas to your existing ldap server. Then edit the ldap_* scripts in /etc/postfix/ to point to your server and also change the config in iredadmin to use this server instead of localhost..

I did not try this, but it should be straight forward..
