Topic: libapache2-mod-auth-apache2 is used by what?

Hi, still testing iredmail on debian...

Question: which part of the puzzle uses the libapache2-mod-auth-apache2 ???

I see there is this is in apache2.conf:

# MySQL auth (libapache2-mod-auth-apache2).
# Global config of MySQL server, username, password.
Auth_MySQL_Info localhost vmail xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Auth_MySQL_General_DB vmail

But I do not see which component of iRedMail is using this?

Thanks again for your attention!

I guess is Awstats need it.   you can check it.

You can read iRedMail-x.y.z/functions/packages*.sh.

ah, ok, awstats - I totally forgot about that there is also awstats smile

I just tried it and there seems to be a small apache config error, I get in browser:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /awstats/ on this server.

And Apache error.log says:

attempt to invoke directory as script: /usr/lib/cgi-bin/

when I use mail.example.com/awstats/awstats.pl it works - but there are no statistics, everything is 0 and on top there is "Never updated".
Bt there is another thread for this problem here already http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic743- … stics.html

well, I will look into this later, there are some other things to fix first...
