Topic: vmail user's database to get it work with VSFTPD ?

This is my 2nd problem I'm trying to solve with iRedMail as I'd like to setup VSFTPD server also using the Virtual users defined in vmail database.

The source of this is here VSFTPD Virtual users with MySQL on CentOS 5
and I see that passwords stored in 'vsftpd database' are in MD5

What is the vmail database password format ?
It seems nothing is working right when authenticating to vmail's database users

vsftpd log always reports:

530 error Login incorrect

Anyone has any suggestion how to authenticate to vmail's database with VSFTPD ?

Thank you ...
Regards,
Thomas

Well, thanks, but....

As I was going through ' /var/log/secure messages ' I found 'pam_mysql' errors and modifying the
'/etc/pam.d/vsftpd'  to 'crypt=1'  and it works !!  (obviously crypt=3 for MD5 doesn't work but crypt=1 WORKS)

Login successful !
