Topic: policyd deamon not listening on pport 10032

Hi,

I followed the steps in the link below but i am not able to enable policyd throttling

when i do netstat after restart the throttling daemon the below is what i get

root@ubuntu-server:/var/log# netstat -ntpl | grep 1003
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:10031         0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      31431/postfix-polic


The deamon is not listening on 0n 32 any help wud be appreciated.

Any error log when you start two Policyd daemons?

No nothing it says started and thats it.

nothing in maillog either

Can you try to stop policyd services, then start them via command line? For example:

# policyd -c /etc/postfix-policyd.conf
# policyd -c /etc/postfix-policyd_sender_throttle.conf
