Iam trying install iRedMail-0.7.3 but had all time this error:
Installing for mysql-server-5.0.92
===>   Generating temporary packing list
===>  Checking if databases/mysql50-server already installed
===>   mysql-server-5.0.92 is already installed
      You may wish to ``make deinstall'' and install this port again
      by ``make reinstall'' to upgrade it properly.
      If you really wish to overwrite the old port of databases/mysql50-server
      without deleting it first, set the variable "FORCE_PKG_REGISTER"
      in your environment or the "make install" command line.

Stop in /usr/ports/databases/mysql50-server.

Re: Error mysql

Just deinstall mysql50-server manually, then re-execute iRedMail installer, iRedMail will install MySQL for you.

      in your environment or the "make install" command line.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/net/openldap24-server.

Re: Error mysql

I was tired to delete packages in the manual... Really there is no means to remove them before installation, what they wouldn't disturb?

Attempting to fetch ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports … 3.2.tar.gz
fetch: Mail-SpamAssassin-3.3.2.tar.gz: local file (1561828 bytes) is longer than remote file (1208182 bytes)
=> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this
=> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/ and try again.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/mail/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin.

Re: Error mysql

The easiest way to install iRedMail on FreeBSD is:

- Install basic OS, without addition binary packages.
- Get the latest ports tree.
- Install iRedMail.

Yes, do it the same way.

This is not iRedMail issue. It's clear in log, you have a local file with same name in /usr/ports/distfiles/, but file size is bigger than the remote one, ports system requires you to solve this conflict manually.

You can simply remove local file, then execute iRedMail installer again.

You can use iRedAdmin open source edition as a replacement of PostfixAdmin. You can also install PostfixAdmin manually with out wiki tutorial:
http://iredmail.org/wiki/index.php?titl … QL.Backend

Sorry, what do you mean "the size of the letter and other"?
