Topic: [SOLVED] Lost ALL emails and mailbox after restarting dovecot
Hello
I was looking at increasing mail storage quota for 1 user and edited /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf:
quota_rule = *:storage=100M
to
quota_rule = *:storage=1000M
and restarted dovecot using /etc/init.d/dovecot restart
and now all of the sudden, people are saying all of their emails and mail boxes have disappeared!
on the server side, i still see all their mailboxes and mails in the dovecot/cur directory but they dont seem to be able to access them in roundcube/imap clients
