Topic: Logwatch vs Awstats Statistics

Hello!
Mysql + iRedOS 0.6 + Centos 5.5

Which of the two is more reliable?
Logwatch or awstats?

The statistics do not match, not changed the configuration of statistics, I am with the default settings after installation of iRed 0.6.

and, Some script sends mail?, because there are many messages sent, but really have not sent much.
