Topic: Recipient address rejected: Greylisting in effect

dear All,

my new mail server ubuntu 11.10 with iredmail 0.7.4

if I sent email from another host (eg, yahoo, gmail) on log mail i've got

Recipient address rejected: Greylisting in effect, please come back later

and the email will not deliver on time.

Please help me to resolve this issue..

Dear Mr Zhang,

I Can't find file postfix-policyd.conf

but I disable policyd at /etc/postfix/main.cf

smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
        reject_unknown_sender_domain
        reject_unknown_recipient_domain
        reject_non_fqdn_sender
        reject_non_fqdn_recipient
        reject_unlisted_recipient
#       check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:7777
        permit_mynetworks
        permit_sasl_authenticated
        reject_unauth_destination
        reject_non_fqdn_helo_hostname
        reject_invalid_helo_hostname
#       check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:10031


and now it's works fine. but I'm afraid if it's can be danger for my server, how about you Mr...?

With this change, Policyd is completed disabled, which means you don't have global whitelist/blacklist, throttling.

ehm.. where is I can edit the whitelist and blacklist..?

Oops, my mistake.
Ubuntu 11.10 ships Policyd-2, its config files are placed under /etc/cluebringer/. Please refer to official doc for more detail: http://www.policyd.org/
