Looks like the total from the query for the alias list is getting sent back based on the number of results for the current page instead of all the results (e.g. there are 50 results for this page, and 127 total, 50 is getting returned as the total and not 127.) The attached patch does the  same thing users does to get the total (a second SQL query for the total.)
