Re: iRedMail-0.8.0-beta4 has been released

Any idea on the final release? Im considering rebuilding my box since my iredapd install didn't go so well and im having to manually start after any boot.

Any error log? Did you try to figure out why it cannot start after system boot?

Since its a copy of iredapd when iredapd-rr goes to start the system thinks its already running.

Re: iRedMail-0.8.0-beta4 has been released

In the dashboard, can we have:

1. Display warnings / errors relating to user quota or any other important system info ? Say if a user is nearing 90% of his quota, can I quickly see it on the dashboard to act ?

2. If possible, can you display the current version of the iRedAdmin-Pro and a link to check for new version ? If a new version is available, can a message displayed recommending for upgrade ?

For General Administration, can we have:

1. Can we force the users to change the password on first login ?

2. Can we automatically have an upgrade option ? like yum upgrade iRedMail

What do you want to do when it's nearly full?

iRedMail will automatically send an notification to user's mailbox when mailbox is 85%, 90%, 95% full. Is it ok for you?

That's how it works.
You can see iRedAdmin-Pro version number in Dashboard page, it will check for new version automatically and display a message if any.

You need this wiki tutorial:

1) For MySQL and PostgreSQL backends:
http://iredmail.org/wiki/index.php?titl … in.90.Days

2) For OpenLDAP, you need the latest iRedAPD with plugin 'ldap_expired_password'.
https://bitbucket.org/zhb/iredapd/src/2 … plugins-rr

In iRedMail, Roundcube will update date of password last update in SQL/LDAP by default.

avrajesh wrote:

No. iRedMail is not a standalone software, it's just shell scripts to install/configure other softwares, so there's no easy upgrade option available. Sorry.

All clients are forced to use IMAPS and POPS (via STARTTLS)

Is this optional? Or do I have to look at some 200+ customers mail accounts?

Dear BigJens,

It's optional. This is default for newly installed mail server, not for existing servers.
