Topic: How to add a domain alias

Hi ZhangHuangbin,
I'm an happy iRedAdmin Pro user :-) now I have a question about the creation of a domain alias.

I have two domains, for example master.tld and slave.tld.
In the master domain there are some mailboxes, with an alias domain I want to redirect all the email send to slave.tld to the domain master.tld.

How can I do this in iRedAdmin-Pro Mysql?

Many thanks for your support.

Glad to hear that.

It's easy to achieve this with below steps:

1: Login to iRedAdmin-Pro as global admin.
2: Go to profile page of domain "master.tld"
3: Click tab "Aliases", add 'slave.tld' (without quotes) as alias domain. Save changes.

That's all.

With above steps, your mail user 'agattei@master.tld' will have another email address: agattei@slave.tld. Is this what you want?

Re: How to add a domain alias

Hi ZhangHuangbin,
this is exactly what I meant.
I wrote to you because it did not work for me, but the problem was solved.
The problem was due to the fact that I had added the domain slave.tld as a domain profile like master.tld.
After deleting the slave.tld domain and follow the three steps above it all worked perfectly.

Best regards,
Alessio
