Topic: Errors on Centos 6.2 x64 IredMail-0.8.1 and IredAdmin-Pro-LDAP-1.7.2

Hi, i see errors in:

/var/log/sieve.log

Jun 15 13:32:20 lda(root): Fatal: setgid(1005(vmail) from mail_gid setting) failed with euid=99(nobody), gid=99(nobody), egid=99(nobody): Operation not permitted (This binary should probably be called with process group set to 1005(vmail) instead of 99(nobody))

How can i fix this?, ir like postfix run dovecot-lda with user and group nobody


And in /var/log/maillog

Jun 15 13:48:24 mx0 postfix/local[3234]: 556B4E0571: to=<root@mydomain.com>, relay=local, delay=13097, delays=13097/0.14/0/0.02, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary failure)

Why temporary failure???

This errors logs appears repeatedly. The instalation use the default configurations.

Because Dovecot tried to deliver email to system account 'nobody' and 'root', but they are not valid virtual mail user, and you don't have alias for nobody and root in /etc/postfix/aliases. Hope it helps.

Thanks !!! I created two alias, for nobody and root... fixed the problem.
