Topic: Centos 6.2+ iRedAdmin Pro LDAP 1.7.2 Global Admins vs Admins throtting

I have Centos 6.2 x64 + IredMail 0.8.1 + IredAdmin Pro LDAP 1.7.2. I need:

1. Have activated Throttling for accounts and domains.

2. Have Global Admins with all attributes to manage the system, and throttling accounts/domains. Only these level of admin (Global)

3. For security reasons control Admin domains (or Not Global Admins). Without manage these two features:

     a) Throttling
     b) BCC domain and accounts

What files i have to edit?, or is not supported?

Thanks!!!

No plan for this feature, sorry.

- Will restrict throttling setting to global admin in next release.
- But why we cannot allow normal admin to manage their BCC settings? Any concern in your company?

Thanks... We have multiple companies, with one domain administrator each. For security reason, we don´t want  a domain administrator can configure to send copies of the emails (BCC) of others.

Do you want to restrict only per-domain BCC? or both per-domain and per-user BCC?

Both

Re: Centos 6.2+ iRedAdmin Pro LDAP 1.7.2 Global Admins vs Admins throtting

It's not restricted with current iRedAdmin-Pro, sorry. Maybe it's better to let global admin decide which features should be open to normal admin. For example: global admin can set:

- Allow normal admin to manage per-domain and/or per-user BCC settings
- Allow normal admin to manage per-domain and/or per-user throttling settings.
- Allow normal admin to manage alias domains.

Will try to achieve this in future release.
