Can iRedmail work stand alone to send bulk emails in an amount of 100,000 per hour ?

If anybody is familiar with PowerMTA or Greenarrow, how does iredmail differ from them in terms of bulk mailing capability

If you just need a MTA, then try to install Postfix.
iRedMail ships Postfix, but it will invoke other programs for virus/spam scanning.
