Topic: How to install iRedMail in the Amazon AWS Cloud

Here's my detailed tutorial on self-hosting iRedMail in the Amazon AWS Cloud. I also describe how to integrate Mailgun as a Postfix relay.

You folks have a great open source product in iRedMail ... I hope it keeps getting better.

Re: How to install iRedMail in the Amazon AWS Cloud

Hi newscloud,

Thanks for your sharing. i have two suggestions:

*) Looks like you didn't mention iRedMail requires at least 1GB memory for production use, which means enable spam/virus scanning, signing DKIM key, etc.

*) In section "Install iRedMail", you move iRedMail config file during iRedMail installation, this is wrong. iRedMail will use this file during iRedMail, so you should move it AFTER installation.

Again, great tutorial. Clear, detailed. smile

Thanks Zhang - I've updated some of these points in the tutorial.

Please add the tutorial to the Wiki and other iRedMail resources.
