Topic: alpine

I was wondering if it would be possible to have alpine auto-configured with the iredmail package. This would be increadibly convienant to users who don't have a lot of bandwidth and can just ssh into the server. Also I would be willing to donate to make this happen. Any ideas or comments are appreciated

Re: alpine

I'll pay $125 USD to see this incorporated. I will also pay $200 for some sort of calendaring software to be included and connected to ldap

Re: alpine

Since alpine is not a must-have component, it's impossible to integrate it to iRedMail. Why not install it manually?

Re: alpine

Fine about the alpine. However, I would still be willing to donate to see a calendering feature integrated.

Which one do you prefer?

Re: alpine

Whatever Is simple enough for your to keep integrating. .csv imports would be a very nice feature though. As well if i could integrate more like groupware where things like the ldap address book are available for both apps. Thank You

Re: alpine

If you integrate some calendar then the real logial move might be to make a big leap and add some groupware suit. I am not saying this should happen nor do I say it should ... there needs to be a lot more discussion about it I think.

While I've not implemented it - there's a pretty good step-by-step guide of integrating sogo with iredmail here: http://conheotiensinh.blogspot.com/2009 … pware.html
