Hello,

I have iredmail setup on a server at my office and everything seems to be running fine, I was able to connect to it from Thunderbird remotely and I have also been able to connect to the server on my android device.

But when I am at the office on the local network I am not able to connect using mail.domain.com, I instead have to change mail server address to the local ip address 10.0.0.xx before I am able to send email.

So my question would be how can I connect to the domain on the local network?

Thanks.

Re: Connecting on Local Network

Obviously it's a local DNS issue. Can you resolve mail.domain.com to correct IP address when you're in office? Or is it resolved to a local IP address like 192.168.x.x?
