Topic: What's with version numbers of iRedMail?

I click one download and get 0.8.5.tar... 
I click another and get 0-1.8.5.tar...
Then I see in announcements that 2.0 has been released.  Is there any consistency to iRedMail ?

Also, what version of mysql is recommended for to use with redmail on freebsd 9.1?
