Hi,

May I know how can I view the mailq easily? such as view the mailq in webmin (sendmail) page "/sendmail/list_mailq.cgi", I can view the queue and choose which mail I can Delete / Flush.

Or I missed some function in iRedAdmin-Pro? it also have this function but I don't know how to use?

Thanks!

Roy

Re: Display the mailq in iRedAdmin-Pro

iRedAdmin-Pro doesn't support mail queue management, and still no plan for this. sorry.

Just curious, why you want to manage mail queue directly? when will you delete a queue file? And how do you do it right now?

Re: Display the mailq in iRedAdmin-Pro

Thanks for the reply.

sometime user setup some filter to forward / auto bcc to other mailbox / user, maybe the receiver also have some filter do the similar thing. then it loop the mail and send out 1800+ mail within 1 hour. it jammed the active queue so we need to remove the jammed no use 1800+ email from the queue.

I found that the active queue send out very slow, 5 mins around send out 20+ mails. we need 10+ hours to send out all 1800+ mail last time. so want to have a queue management for it. or any setting / suggestion I can config the postfix?

Thanks!

Re: Display the mailq in iRedAdmin-Pro

5 mins send out 20+ mails? This is unusual. Did you check Postfix log files to figure out why?

I don't think you need a queue management, you need to make you mail queue behaves as usual.

Re: Display the mailq in iRedAdmin-Pro

Hi,

The active queue sent out mail ready slow. Attached the MRTG report on 30Aug, you can see it we enable 1 more domain at 13:30 and let user use it, then the active queue keep growing until 18:00 off duty time. Then the queued 700 mail need 2.5 hours to clear, just around 5 mail/min, is it normal? if not, can you please help to check and advise what setting we need to config? (I set the "qmgr_message_active_limit" to 500 before, but the incoming is growing after active meet 500, so new set it to 800)

Re: Display the mailq in iRedAdmin-Pro

Nothing unusual in your log. You can try to disable spam/virus scanning for OUTGOING mails in Amavisd. Reference:
http://iredmail.org/wiki/index.php?titl … oing.Mails

If it doesn't solve your issue, try to remove "reject_unknown_sender_domain, reject_unknown_recipient_domain" in Postfix config file /etc/postfix/main.cf. Original parameter looks like this:

smtpd_recipient_restrictions = reject_unknown_sender_domain, reject_unknown_recipient_domain, reject_non_fqdn_sender, …

Modified:

smtpd_recipient_restrictions = reject_non_fqdn_sender, …
