Topic: SMTP error: Authentication failure

Dear all,

I am getting SMTP error (250) : Authintication failed. If any one fix up the issue

- iRedMail version:  v0.2.2 (MySQL)

- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL

- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS \n \l

- Related log if you're reporting an issue: Oct 10 16:10:54 ns1 roundcube: SMTP Error: SMTP error: Authentication failure: SMTP server does not support authentication (Code: ) in /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail-0.9.2/program/include/rcmail.php on line 1014 (POST /mail/?_unlock=loading1381399853576&_lang=undefined?_task=mail&_action=send)

*) Did you modify Roundcube config file?
*) What's the setting of parameter "smtp_auth_type" in Roundcube config file (/usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail/config/main.inc.php)?
