Topic: Upgrading Debian from Squeeze to Wheezy

Hi!
I updated my server with Debian Squeeze to Wheezy.
Then consistently updated iRedMail c 0.8.3 to 0.8.4, and then began to perform the upgrade to version 0.8.5.
Encounter the following difficulties.
1) In the section "Fix incorrect ACL for attribute "memberOfGroup".
You between the parameters of a space after the comma -
access to attrs="memberOfGroup, employeeNumber, ..." .
Space after the comma should not be, otherwise slapd doesn't start.
Should be:access to attrs="memberOfGroup,employeeNumber, ..."
2) In the cection "Fix incorrect SQL column name in Amavisd database".
In Debian Squeeze version amavisd-new - 2.7.1, but policy table does not contain column unchecked_lovers_maps. Whether in this case, to create column unchecked_lover?

Best regards
Isakov Maxim.

Fixed moment ago, thanks for your feedback.

NOTE: This fix is applicable to Amavisd-new-2.7 and later versions, not applicable to Amavisd-new-2.6 and earlier versions.
Debian 6 ships Amavisd-new-2.6.4, not 2.7: http://packages.debian.org/search?keywo … ection=all
And it's mentioned this step isn't applicable to Amavisd-new-2.6 and earlier versions:

I updated my system from Debian 6 to Debian 7
# cat /etc/debian_version
7.1
Version amavisd updated from 2.6 to 2.7
# amavisd-new -V
amavisd-new-2.7.1 (20120429)

My question is about the table column remains in force.

Re: Upgrading Debian from Squeeze to Wheezy

Upgrading Amavisd-new from 2.6 to 2.7 won't upgrading SQL structure for you automatically, you have to upgrade it manually.
A simple way is re-creating the Amavisd sql database, then import SQL template file shipped in Amavisd doc file ( http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/READ … mysql.txt) or import the one shipped by iRedMail (it's extracted from the same file): https://bitbucket.org/zhb/iredmail/src/ … s/amavisd/

Thank you!
Everything turned out. I chose the second proposed option.
