Hi,
I would like rename the IMAP special-use folder's in Outlook (version 2007 to 2013).

I'm French and my Oulook show the english's name of special folder !

Example :
Boîte de réception
Drafts
Sent
Trash
....

It's not serious for my french's client.

Off course, i can't rename it.

I upgrade Dovecot but non change.
My dovecot version : 2.2.5

PS : Looks fine with Thunderbird, my folder are correctly translate in French...

Thanks

Best regard.

Re: Name of special-use folder's IMAP Outlook

* What does your attachment '15-mailboxes.conf' used for in this case?
* I think it's better to show an alias name in Outlook (just like Thunderbird), not to rename them to French.

I don't know, i will think it was usefull for the Dovecot's special-use folder...

How show Alias name ?

Wat's the proper Dovecot's configuration ?

Thanks a lot.

I have no idea. Did you configure Thunderbird to show these alias names, or it's shown automatically by Thunderbird?
It should be done in the mail client itself, not IMAP server.

There's nothing to do with Dovecot in this case.
