Topic: migrate to iRedAdminPro and Error: Username or password is incorrect

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version: 0.8.5
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Debian 7.2
- Related log if you're reporting an issue:
====

I have just installed iRedMail 0.8.5, including installing the open-source version of iRedAdmin.
Then I migrated to iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-1.7.0 using the guide on your website here.
http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … ro/OSE-Pro

# tar xjf /root/iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z.tar.bz2 -C /usr/share/apache2/
# cd /usr/share/apache2/
# rm -i /usr/share/apache2/iredadmin                 # <- this is a symbol link, it will prompt you to type 'y' to confirm.
# ln -s iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z iredadmin
# cp -p iRedAdmin-x.y.z/settings.ini iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z/

# chown -R iredadmin:iredadmin iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z/              # <- Set correct file permission for iRedAdmin-Pro.
# chmod -R 0555 iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z
# chmod -R 0400 iRedAdmin-Pro-x.y.z/settings.ini

# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart            # <- Restart apache web server

arriving in iRedAdminPro panel i got this message
"Error: Username or password is incorrect."

so pointing the symlink back to the iredadmin folder and it works ok.
note that  the settings.ini file is the same in iredadmminpro folder ( after coping it from the iredadmin folder).

so what can i do ??

regards

Pascal

The mail admin account created during iRedMail installation is a mail user, not a separated mail admin account. And iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-1.7.0 doesn't support this kind of mail admin, please use the latest iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-2.0 instead.

I sent you an email with download link of iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-2.0 moment ago, let me know if you didn't receive it.

Thank you for your answer. i have now install  iRedAdmin-Pro-LDAP-2.0 and it's working.
but i have no tab throtlling nor blacklist/whitelist under the edit account user profile.
how can i do enable these options.
i have read http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … ian.Ubuntu
but i think it is not for this actual version.
i can access to httpS://myserver/cluebringer/ but i can't find some explanation on your wiki on how to use it.
and is there some relation with IredAdmin tab missing option.
regards
Pascal

Debian 7 ships Cluebringer (a.k.a. Policyd v2) instead of Policyd-1.8, iRedAdmin-Pro doesn't support Cluebringer yet.
But upcoming iRedAdmin-Pro will support it, with white/black/greylisting support and throttling control.
