Hi Zhang, smile

I'm just curious.. I have a site, http://www.domain.com

I have removed /mail as Alias to roundcubemail in the virtualhost and restarted the server. Yet, after refresh, cache clear, and even on new machine - http://www.domain.com/mail still works! I've never seen anything like it! Any idea?

Check your Apache settings please. You should also check file /var/www/index.html, it redirects http://xxx/ to http://xxx/mail/.

Zhang, there is no /mail Alias on the virtual host present sad Also, I have erased the default-ssl virtual host, and deleted the /var/ssl directory.

Is the weirdest thing I have ever seen since start doing server admin!

Can provide entire virtualhost file if necessary

Did you check /etc/apache2/conf.d/roundcubemail.conf?

Silly thought here but I had a very similar issue and I found it had nothing to do with my config, it was my proxy server and DNS cache.
