What is the different between email aliases added / set under the domain setting vs under the user alias setting?
It seems to me they are the same thing? when I tried to add an email alias under the domain iredadmin complain if it is already used up under the user setting.
Are there any advantage to adding it under the user vs domain setting? One thing that makes it better to add under the domain setting is that you can see them and know that the alias already exist / taken.
Alias added under the user setting are not shown anywhere else (as far as I can see). This makes it very difficult to tell who has taken the alias.
am I missing something?
