Topic: Problem that Email sent to non MX record (local domain mailbox)

I have a problem which I have created domaina.com and domainb.com.  Domaina is now production and domainb not yet in production as the MX record is pointing to OLD server.  When domaina user send to domainb, suppose it will lookup the MX record and send to OLD server, however, it directly drop to the local mailbox (domainb).

Is that possible to do anything like change the domainb to disable status or change it to backup MX to solve the problem?

Please advise.  URGENT.  Thanks.
