Topic: Mails marked as spam
Hi
Thank you for the great script all went smoothly, but i have some questions and some problems:
1. Is there a way to not install some of the features which do not appear as optional like policy/amavisd etc or they can only be disabled afterwards?
2. how can i decrease the greylist time - it is taking ages for a message to reach the recipient
3. how can i disable dkim/spf signing if i want to?
I am having trouble sending mails to different directions: yahoo.com will give me a permanent deffer:
4.201 will be permanently deferred; Retrying will NOT succeed. See http://postmaster.yahoo.com/421-ts03.html
Mar 8 08:06:02 mail postfix/smtp[3711]: 9BE7F2381B9: to=<account@yahoo.com>, relay=g.mx.mail.yahoo.com[98.137.54.238]:25, delay=2.8, delays=0.02/0/2.8/0, dsn=4.7.1, status=deferred (host g.mx.mail.yahoo.com[98.137.54.238] refused to talk to me: 421 4.7.1 [TS03] All messages from MYPUBLICIP will be permanently deferred; Retrying will NOT succeed. See http://postmaster.yahoo.com/421-ts03.html)
My config is like this: i have the router with a few public ip's for web services and i have 1 public ip behind the firewall (With nat) on which my server resides (it is 192.168.2.61 - internal) and i am using nat to send it out. I have a reverse dns for that ip matching the exact mail name (mail.example.com). It is a static public ip not dynamically asigned or anything like that.
I also set up DKIM and with amavisd testkey it says pass, but yahoo will still bounce my mails.
I also sent a mail to another address and i got a spam message reply saying that i have 5.50 score, and i have no ideea why
I have set the localhost in etc/hosts and network and if i telnet to localhost i get mail.example.com
I have checked and my ip is clean in the blacklists: http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx.
This is the 1st mail server on this ip class.
Can you please give me some pointers on what can i change to solve these problems?
Thank you
