Topic: smtp smtps ports

Hi. Is it necessary to keep open port 25 if I use smtps 587&465. Is it possible to do all job on these ports. I am going to close port 25 in iptables but the question is - is it enough to serve everything necessary( my server to other servers, my server to my clients). And maybe I have to configure iredmail components in addition to serve everything on 587&465.
I run 0.8.6&ldap.

Usually, other mail servers communicate with your server through port 25. So, do NOT close it.
