Topic: planning to install iRedMail on OpenBSD 5.5

Hi,

I am planning to install iRedMail on OpenBSD 5.5.  The mail server (IMAP) will have approx 100 users.  Is there any HOWTO/doco re. filesystem layout/size?

Regards,

Ioan

No recommended filesystem layout/size. iRedMail will store emails under '/var/vmail' by default (it's customizable during installation), depends on your daily traffic, it may take much disk space.

Hi ZhangHuanbing,

Thanks, got it.  Should the /var/mail be a separate filesystem?  A few years back I set up a OpenBSD (4.5)/Postfix/Dovecot/MySQL mail-server, and I do remember that I had issues keeping the /var/mail /var/spool and /var/log filesystems as separate filesystems.

Ioan

You don't have to separate it.
