Topic: Catchall with LDAP / Outbound Amavis check

Hi,

I now have 0.6.0-rc1 running on Debian SID, with all the latest versions of IMAP, SMTP, ...
Sending/receiving mails, all working.

I'm using the LDAP backend, and tried to setup a catchall Alias.
Have it now working, but without LDAP support, via a Portmap file, added to the virtual_mailbox.

I tried to add a shadowAddress in LDAP like @domain.tld, which seems to work for Postfix.
But in the end, dovecot was not happy, as it couldn't find that eMail in LDAP.

Is there a solution already available for a catchall Alias, using LDAP?

Thanks in advance,
Christian

Edit:

Ok, was not working as expected.
For some reason everything was delivered to the catchall Mailbox, so removed the Portmap for now.
Still looking for a solution to get it working with LDAP though.

And during my further testing, I found another unusual behavior.
When sending Mails via Webmail or from Shell, they are not passed through Amavis, but delivered straight to the eMail address.
Haven't tested from Outside yet, but I checked against my old Setup (0.6.0-beta3 on Lenny), and there they are parsed through Amavis first.
Checked the Postfix/Amavis config files, and they both look identical.
Maybe someone can help me with this?

Ah, in the wiki.
I was always looking if it was mentioned in the FAQ, which it isn't.
Working fine, thanks wink

Would you be able to also help me troubleshoot my last error, with Outbound emails not checked with Amavis.
Can't seem to find the problem, as config is both the same on 0.6.0-beta3 and 0.6.0-rc1.

Ok, everything is working now.
I was even able to get Domainkey signing to work with the help of dk-filter.
If you need help getting this to work with Debian unstable/testing, using the latest versions of PHP5, Amavis, Postfix, Dovecot, let me know.
With all the tweaking I might be able to help wink

I have both, DK and DKIM working.
Not tried it with sending mails to Yahoo, as I don't have an account.
But all Reflector tests were showing both working.

I will write a howto later, needs some sleep wink
