Can I make iredmail work with https?

iRedMail uses a self-signed SSL certificate by default, so web browser will show you warning message like this.
To avoid this warning, you should purchase a SSL certificate from any trusted SSL provider.

ZhangHuangbin, can I force http-conection then?

And another question:
can be default SSL certificate is reason of that Thunderbird cant detect settings of server automatically?

Everyone is trying to protect the data via secure connection. why do you prefer http to https?

You should check Thunderbird document to understand how it detects server setting. It's not a server issue.

It is not depend on me. There is the probability that my boss can ask for it.

Not everyone understand why network security matters, that's your duty to explain to your boss and refuse the request.
