Topic: ClamAV, iRedMail on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04)

Hi,

is anyone running iRedMail on Ubuntu Hardy?
Can you upgrade your ClamAV package via `apt-get update`, `apt-get upgrade` to a working version (>0.94)

I tried, but I get

The following packages have been kept back:
  bind9-host clamav-base clamav-daemon clamav-freshclam dnsutils libbind9-30 libdns35
  libisc35 libisccfg30 liblwres30 linux-image-server linux-server

Did anyone find a solution for that?

Greets, peter

Push Ubuntu official maintainers.

Re: ClamAV, iRedMail on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04)

ClamAV 0.95.X is available for Ubuntu Hardy, I can update other machines.
But I can't update the machine which runs iRedMail. That's why I'm asking here.

If so, try to delete clamav first, and then install it from official repository.

Re: ClamAV, iRedMail on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04)

Ok, I could install the package 'clamav clamav-daemon' after I removed 'clamav-base clamav-freshclam clamav-daemon'
How can I check whether the clamav integration into iRedMail is still working?

The secondary scanner is the new clamav (0.95.3). Whats the 'primary internal av scanner'?
