Topic: Upgrade not available in download file iRedMail-0.9.0

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version: iRedMail-0.8.7
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 6
- Related log if you're reporting an issue: Yes
====

I am upgrading from iRedMail-0.8.7 to iRedMail-0.9.0

I followed the instructions on http://www.iredmail.org/docs/migrate.or … admin.html

NOTE: There should be a link here to the download page, I had to search for the download.

I downloaded iRedMail-0.9.0.tar.bz2, in /root/ untapped it "tar xvc iRedMail-0.9.0.tar.bz2", went to the /root/iRedMail-0.9.0/tools directory and there was no script labeled or named anything like 'upgrade'

Thanks for your feedback. I fixed this by adding download link in the tutorial.

There's no such script in iRedMail. The tutorial in your first post is for upgrading iRedAdmin.

Re: Upgrade not available in download file iRedMail-0.9.0

I guess I am going cross eyed, the instructions say

Instructions wrote:

We assume you uploaded it to /root/iRedAdmin-{BACKEND}-x.y.z.tar.bz2 ({BACKEND} is one of LDAP, MySQL, PGSQL). "

But the link information says

link wrote:

iRedAdmin-0.3.3.tar.bz2
iRedAdmin-0.3.tar.bz2
iRedAdmin-0.4.tar.bz2

There is no iRedAdmin with a "Mysql" imbedded in the name of the file.

UPDATE: I took a chance and ran the iRedAdmin without the BACKEND information in the filename and it looks like the script figures out which backend it is and updates it.

NOTE: Link at top of page says "Addition Steps" should be "Additional Steps"

Thank you for all your hard work Zhang

Zhang, How do I update to the latest iRedMail? This was an iRedAdmin update.
