I've run through this process several times on my VM (Centos 7), re-imaging each time...

After running the install, DNS lookup is broken.

ping yahoo.com doesn't work
ping 98.138.253.109 does.

Any ideas?

Re: iRedMail install breaks dns

Do you have proper dns servers in /etc/resolv.conf and /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf?
iRedMail doesn't modify /etc/resolv.conf, but it copies /etc/resolv.conf to /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf.

Re: iRedMail install breaks dns

I'd like to thank you for your reply.  Not sure why, but it worked the most recent time, so I'm letting it stick.

Probably installed 4 times and then asked the question and then I guess the system got scared.  But, resolv.conf kept is values...

Thx!
