Re: setting up a backup mx

Which backend do you use? MySQL or OpenLDAP?
If MySQL, mark 'backupmx=1' in vmail.domains table.
If OpenLDAP, mark 'domainBackupMx=yes' in domain object.

Re: setting up a backup mx

Hello all,
i'm new to iRedMail, i need to set up iredmail as a mx backup for another mail server .. i've tried to check "Mail server is backup MX" but when i try to send an email to an account i get back a Delivery Status Notificatio (Failure)  that says that the account does not exist: 550 5.1.1 recipient address rejected: user unknown in relay recipients table (state 14).

How should i configure iredmail to act as mx backup correctly ? thank you so much

N.

The line is already commented out:

#relay_recipient_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/relay_recipients
