This is caused by greylisting. And it's enabled by default for all backends.

IP no in blacklist

Greylisting is active by default. Not only for blacklisted IPs/Domains. Only Whitelist overrides it, feel free to disable it.

We are currently seeing a attack on the Manage DNS servers, on account of which the DNS records (A, MX, PTR, etc...) could not be fetched.
