Hi,

I have been browsing through your forum in search of a way to get the catchall working. I want any email sent to someone that doesn't exist on our domain to be sent to a specific account.

I have tried the following:

http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … /Catch-all

However I get the error:

ldap_add: Server is unwilling to perform (53)
additional info: no global superior knowledge

I have tried a few other solutions as well:

http://serverfault.com/questions/438269 … ce-edition

But no luck. Can anybody help. If you tell me just to rather use SQL that will make it better I will do so. This is a test server. We want to start using this as our production email server however the catchall is a must!

Thanks.

Warren

Re: LDAP Catchall setup

If you must have catch-all support, i suggest you go MySQL backend. There's a known issue with OpenLDAP backend: if you have catch-all account enabled for mail domain, email sent to user+extension@domain.com will be delivered to catch-all account.
