Hi,

The server seems to have been working fine until I used the Mandrill Account. Now any mail sent from Interspire or roundcube is not received at the recipient end.

I just used the 587 port for Mandrill Account whereas I am using the port 25 for the server. Don't know what's the issue. Has it anything to do with Mandrill Account? I just deleted the account, BTW. The same thing happened last time as well.

Any help would highly be appreciated. Thanks for the time and effort.

Without any logs we cannot help you. Also, don't just ignore the header for all your server's basic information.

Apache has practically nothing to do with the sending of mails, any mail logs? like /var/log/maillog or /var/log/mail.log

*) What's "Mandrill Account"?
*) If you client connected to mail server through port 25/587, Postfix will log info about this client, so please try to gather related log and paste here, others cannot help without related log. Also, if your mail client reports any error message, paste it here too. The more RELATED log you public, the easier others can help troubleshoot.

Thanks, I just figured it out. Last time also same problem. But what I can see from the webmin interface the total memory being used is just lest 0.5 GB. I have a server of 1 GB memory. What could be shutting down the Amavisd service?

Do I need to disable the annti

1GB should be enough for Amavis to not shut down
But to make sure, do the following:

If you don't want to disable Amavisd+SpamAssassin+ClamAV, you still have 2 choices, please choose one of them, or both:
*) Add more memory to your server. e.g. 1 GB in total, or even 2 GB in total.
*) Reduce the concurrent mail process to 2, or even 1, by following below steps:
1) Update value of '$max_servers' to 1 in Amavisd config file /etc/amavisd/amvisd.conf.
$max_servers = 1;
2) Update concurrent mail processes in /etc/postfix/master.cf, in transport 'smtp-amavis':
smtp-amavis unix - - - - 1 smtp
3) Restart Postfix service first, then restart Amavisd service.

Not sure exactly what do you mean by "concurrent mail process?" Is it no 2 users can send mails at the same time or no 2 mail campaigns can be sent by a single user at a given time?

Its internal processing, so 1 mail will get processed at a time, it all gets queued. When you send or receive email it just enters a queue and gets processed as soon as possible. Having a queue of 1 worker isn't much slower than having 2 workers.

I don't know what setting is currently on your server and I can't remember the default one. I think it sets it to 2. Just because e-mails are held in queue for a second longer won't affect your mail flow. If you'd like your mail to be queued for shorter then upgrade your server or disable AmavisD

and just disabled the antivirus and antispam features and It just worked fine for me. So If required I can do the same this time as well without compromising with the quality.

If you're not bothered for spam/virus etc checking then disable it, no point keeping it on in this case

Is there any other way to do the SPF and DKIM for the mails If I disable Amavisd completely? I just want the SPF and DKIM for the mails even after Amavisd is disabled. Thanks a lot

Not with the packages iRedMail Installs. You'd have to handle that yourself unfortunately through things like OpenDKIM and such.

The Outbound SPF Settings are a DNS Record so set on your Nameservers (often same place as domain).
The SPF that Amavis/Spamassassin do is the checking of incoming e-mails SPF validity, your outgoing SPF validity will remain unchanged.
The same does not apply for DKIM, without Amavis your e-mails will not get signed, incoming e-mails will also not get DKIM Verified.
