- Related log if you're reporting an issue: not an issue

Assuming my domain is mydomain.com. When I visit mydomain.com , www.mydomain.com or mail.mydomain.com I'll get redirected to www.mydomain.com/mail. I'd like to access Roundcube on mail.mydomain.com (without getting redirected to /mail) , is it possible?

*) You have to add virtual host 'mail.mydomain.com' and use Roundcube as DocumentRoot directory.
*) To not redirect to www.mydomain.com/mail, please remove file /var/www/index.html (or /var/www/html/index.html).

Is it possible to have a subdomain for the admin part too?

Sure. Add a virtual host please.
