Topic: slapd service rarely goes down?

I use iredmail0-6 with ldap option as test. it has been working well for about since the second June 2010.
But I have a problem. I have only 2 mail accounts. But the ldap service goes down about everyweek.
I have to restart slapd service.
What 's wrong with it?
Meanwhile, I need a script makes the service restart when its down.
How can I find it?

You should try to figer it out by checking system log under /var/log/

monit would restart the service .

there /var/log/messages before restarted the server

after the restart, the everything works well. I didn't change anything.

The log just says applications can't connect to ldap server, you have to find out why ldap server stops.

i have this trouble, but i dont find why my ldap server stops:(
password is correct, all settings is default ...

I haven't still found out any solves for this problem on freebsd.
I installed as default.
I wonder when the problem will be solved.

by the way I am waiting for iRedAdmin's support for mysql backend.

Because if you install your mail server with ldap in iredmail installation, and then once the ldap service goes down, all your mail system go down. To me, surely ldap service should be but all mail services shouldn't depend on the ldap.
