I'am waiting for finishing Installation (2 hours) and then this will happen:

I found this bug tonight, still working on it.

But if you reboot server, all mail services should be fine. Please give it a try.

You can fix it and re-execute iRedMail installer to finish the installation.

Hi Zang,

with the last commit the Installation was successful !  Many thanks.

Now i have a Problem with SoGo: Sending/receive emails with roundcube everything works fine. But when i try to send mail with Sogo-Frontend an SMTP-AUTH error will be happen.

In maillog i can see something similar to this:

Jun 24 11:57:13 mx1 postfix/smtpd[2667]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail.mydomain.com[1.2.3.4]: 553 5.7.1 <sombody@my-domain.com>: Sender address rejected: not logged in; from=<sombody@my-domain.com> to=<receipent@receipentdomain.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<client_helo.com>

I assume SoGo(d) uses SMTP-Port 25 - could be that a Problem (w/postscreen) ?

Any help is appreciated

This error means your client (SOGo, in this case) didn't perform smtp authentication.

Please show me output of command below:

# grep -i 'smtp' /etc/sogo/sogo.conf

the output:
    // SMTP server
    SOGoSMTPServer = 10.0.0.2;
    SOGoMailingMechanism = smtp;
    //SOGoSMTPAuthenticationType = PLAIN;

10.0.0.2 is the ip address from my (FREEBSD-) iRedmail-Jail. After the standard iRedmail configuration nothing was changed in sogo.conf

Please check if there's any error in SOGo log file (/var/log/sogo/sogo.log).

this is weird... I've changed the sogo-config - sending emails from sogo does not work. No errors in sogo.log.
But i can see this in maillog:

Please specify port number in SMTP server address:

    SOGoSMTPServer = 10.0.0.2:587;

It works fine on my testing machine with default iRedMail settings, so it makes me confused. I will try to reproduce this issue later.

Hi Zhang,

Any news from this topic? I've tried some changes in sogo but nothing will work for me. Sogo Frontend tells me that originator will not accepted. Nothing else. Is there something wrong with smtp configuration in iRedmail?

No progress. It works fine on my NEW testing machine. No change required.
So i'm confused. sad
