Topic: Locked out/unresponsive

Suddenly today at 10AM EST, the iredmail server has stopped responding to SSH, and IMAP/SMTP. I can still log in through Roundcube and iRedAdmin though.

I reset the VM machine through vSphere, and it did not help any.

Any thoughts or tips are appreciated.

It appears that a security upgrade by the ISP is only allowing web and ping to the CoLo machines. I've opened a ticket with them, so hold off on the suggestions for a bit.

Seems blocked in iptables, triggered by Fail2ban. Does vSphere provide any way to login to server (via ssh or other ways)? check iptables rules first:

iptables -L -n

Resolved.

It was an issue with the ISP.  Something to do with their Cisco switch. They had everything back by 1 PM EST.
