Topic: Another New iRedmail install on Cent 5.3

Everything is good except secure SMTP/POP/IMAP logins.

No matter how I configure a mail client, I can not auth secure. Outlook errors the famous 0x800ccc8 error.
POP (dovecot) logs; pop3-login: Aborted login (no auth attempts)

Non secure auth works fine.

Any pointers?

you also try thunderbird. check whether working.

How about the logs?  iptables?  is the pops/imaps listening?  turn up dovecot debug messages.
