My DKIM signature is being verified good "pass" by gmail, yahoo, hotmail.
But some mail server, especially from China fails to verify my dkim signature

I use a sub-domain for as "from sender"
Sub-domain is validated by "amavisd-new testkeys"
DNS record is set for sub-domain dkim.
But My main domain does NOT have a dkim entry.
Main domain and sub-domain DNS records hosted in different servers.
Why does it fail with some servers?
Do those failing severs check main domain DNS server for sub-domain records?
