Topic: install help - Freenas + iRedmail v0.9.4

hi,

i try install iRedmail v0.9.4 (downloaded 10.2.2016) in Freenas standard jail (FreeBSD 9.3).

now im stop et error:
===>  spdylay-1.3.2 spdylay requires OpenSSL 1.0.1+.
*** [fetch] Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/www/spdylay.
*** [fetch-recursive] Error code 1


I try install openssl from ports - openssl 1.0.2_8. But base system openssl is still 0.9.8. How can i force install 1.0.1+ ?

Hi,

i installed without errors after solving problem with openssl. Now i cant start apache24:

AH00526: Syntax error on line 1 of /usr/local/etc/apache24/Includes/awstats.conf:
Can't load driver file apr_dbd_pgsql.so

awstats.conf:

DBDriver pgsql
# Important note: use 'password=' for MySQL, 'password=' for PostgreSQL.
DBDParams "host=127.0.0.1 port=5432 dbname=vmail user=vmail password=xxxxxxxx"

In install i select: sogo, apache, PostgreSQL

You need to rebuild port devel/apr1 with pgsql support. Or, disable/remove awstats config file /usr/local/etc/apache24/Includes/awstats.conf, so that it doesn't require pgsql connection.

Hi, thx for your reply. I again compile apr1 with pgsql support and it help to start apache24 without problem. But, i cant open any page (iredadmin, sogo,...) - internal error or misconfiguration. I decide to install all again in new jail. smile

Any related error in their log files? For iredadmin, it logs to Apache (or uwsgi log file if you're running Nginx). SOGo has its own log file /var/log/sogo/sogo.log.

After new installation i have iRedmail (change install configuration to: mysql, roundcube, sogo, nginx).

Can access roundcube (include admin console), sogo.

But i cant access:

1. Awstats (404 Not Found) - output from ./var/log/nginx/error.log:
"/usr/local/www/apache24/data/awstats/awstats.pl" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: 192.168.xx.xxx, server: _, request: "GET /awstats/awstats.pl?config=smtp HTTP/1.1", host: "192.168.xx.xxx"

i chcecked /usr/local/www/apache24/data/awstats, but no awstats folder exist


2.preferences in sogo (502 Bad Gateway) - no error in sogo logs

Was awstats package installed by iRedMail?

1. I run pkg list | grep 'awstats' but nothing found. awstats is not installed?

2. nginx log:

3. i mean that fail2ban is also not installed, strange....

*) Awstats is available when you use Apache. Because Nginx doesn't have module for sql/ldap authentication.
*) Fail2ban is not installed by iRedMail. This is expected.

*) About the Nginx error, seems sogo has something wrong. but if there's no related log in SOGo log file, it's hard to say what the problem is.

Thx for all your answers and time, I learned something new.

If is wrong something with SOGo, is there any way how to reinstall only SOGo?

Are you sure there's no any log in SOGo log file?

There's one error in sogo.log:

The error message is not clear, i cannot figure out what the problem is. Could you help verify whether it happens each time when you got "502 bad gateway" error in Nginx? If yes, i suggest posting to SOGo mailing list to get support from SOGo developers.

Hi, again i decided to install iredmail, but for now in real HW on ubuntu 14.04 server...... Maybe all will be working out of the box. smile
