Is it possible to import mailboxes from another NOT iredmail Mailserver installation?

because in iredmail the folders look like this

"example@domain.org" the mailboxes are not sorted in folders but
on the other mailserver every domain ending with "domain.org" is in the folder "domain.org"

is this a problem?

Re: import mailboxes

If you store mail messages in Maildir format on another server, it's able to copy the whole mailbox to iRedMail -- of course you must make sure it's copied to correct directory.

Or, you can migrate the mailbox with 'imapsync', it doesn't care about maildir path/structure, but it requires username/passwords on both servers.
